This sensor detects the touch of human skin. It can be very easily hidden inside of paintings and sculptures. The example here uses a small piece of foil as a “pad” to touch. This sensor is well suited for projects where the interactivity is meant to not be immediately apparent. It is useful for turning everyday objects into inputs, anything which conducts electricity can be used as a sensor to detect touch.
How to use this:
See the attached sketch. This will require some “tuning” and trial and error as the sensor is very sensitive. A tip for use is: keep the sensor wires separate for each other, and from any objects which will trigger a false reading. The sensor board has LEDs on it that illuminate when touch is detected; these are very useful for debugging.
