This workshop is designed for individuals interested in creating designs for digital fabrication in the Fab Lab. Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of design software and best practices for creating machine-ready files for 3D printing. The workshop will guide participants through the process of creating their own designs using the professional 3D modeling software, Fusion 360, which can then be fabricated in the Fab Lab.
Why Fusion 360?
Fusion 360 is a robust 3D modeling software aimed at a more advanced audience with some experience or willingness to learn something challenging. With its advanced features, Fusion 360 allows you to design almost anything. Through this workshop, participants will gain experience using Fusion 360 and learn how to create their own designs for 3D printing and other forms of digital fabrication.
